- Completed (technical/maritime) Bachelor degree or higher
- Training in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Officer or equivalent - Specific knowledge of welding processes, material knowledge - Knowledge of construction and theory of strength of materials - Sailing experience, preferably in heavy lifting, tugs or offshore - Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing
- Willing to travel around the world frequently
