For one of clients we are looking for tool pushers.
As a Toolpusher you are responsible for the entire drilling operation and you must be capable of making immediate decisions. You also need to supervise and co-ordinate the activities of the drilling rig crew. Your job is generally administrative, including ensuring that the rig has sufficient materials, spare parts and skilled personnel to continue an efficient operation. A Toolpusher needs to have years of experience and proven leadership skills. A knowledgeable Toolpusher is able to identify and remedy minor problems before they become major setbacks. The Toolpusher reports directly to the senior Toolpusher. It is preferable that you live in or nearby the Netherlands or United Kingdom.
As a Tool pusher your tasks and duties mainly consist out of:
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments;
• Make sure that the crew on the rig kept on task at all times;
• Explain daily duties and monitors the quality of workmanship;
• Set up machines and equipment;
• Meets with workers of the crew to address performance issues and discuss safety concerns to improve the productivity;
• Train crewmembers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
