For one of our clients we are looking for drillers.
The Driller supervises a crew on the rig and is responsible that the work get done safely, efficiently and within the scope of government and company regulations. The driller is under supervision of the rig manager. As a Driller you should possess excellent organizational skills, be a good communicator and listener and be able to work quickly while keeping an eye on detail.
As a Driller your tasks and duties mainly consist out of:
Monitor the rig crew members to ensure they can competently perform the work;
Assist with well development and pumping tests;
Enforce rules about wearing proper work attire including Personal Protective Equipment;
Obtain drilling core samples;
Check drilling and servicing equipment on a regular basis and maintain records in a log;
Move drilling rigs and equipment from site to site, set up in the new site and connect power cables or hoses for water and air supply;
Hold regular safety meetings and make sure crew members are taking them seriously;
Orient new staff as they come on board;
Requirements:
one year as experience as driller
