For several clients in the offshore industry IPS is searching frequently for a qualified and experienced Bargemaster. The bargemaster will do his duty on board of a jack up platform or a multi purpose barge. The projects will be offshore, with a focus on the wind energy. Many jack up platforms and some barges are involved in several projects.
As a bargemaster you will be responsible for the total process on board of the platform or barge. You will have a good contact and understanding with the client representitives. You distinguish yourself by timely and appropriate decision making and by your effectiveness in motivating and enabling your team to succeed in challenging circumstances. All keeping in mind the safety regulations.
Requirements:
The most ideal bargemaster. The ideal bargemaster is in possession of:
a degree in navigation
(some) years of relevant experience on board of a jack up platform or barge.
a valid seamansbook
medical certificate and passport.
