For one of our clients we are looking for a (Senior) Project Engineer.
As a (Senior) Project Engineer you are realizing engineering activities required for proposals and projects through guiding other engineers, coordinating the required activities and contribute to the execution of projects.
As a (Senior) Project Engineer your responsibilities are:
- Collect, analyze and use all information necessary for proposals;
- Giving support to contribute to a successful proposal process;
- Coordinating activities required for proposals and enquiries;
- To collect, analyze and use all information necessary to the preparation of a project;
- Writing reports (e.g. Cargo Securing Manual and Engineering reports) for a project;
- To check and approve documents and communicate with other parties involved;
- Coordinate and perform all activities to ensure a safe / successful project execution;
- Provide on site engineering assistance, if required;
- To assist the Project Manager in his activities;
- Support and advise the Project Manager on project related engineering issues;
- To do research, sharing knowledge, develop and maintaining future engineering tools;
- Contributing to the training of (Junior) Engineers;
- To assist the Manager in structuring and improving the department processes.

The ideal candidate for the position of (Senior) Project Engineer ....
The Requirements for the ideal candidate for the position of (Senior) Project Engineer are:
Bachelor or university degree; Broad experience in naval architecture, civil or mechanical engineering; Experience with responsibilities mentioned above; Fluently in Dutch and English, aswell in written as in spoken.
Competences:
- Communication, clear in writing as well as orally;
- Entrepreneurship,recognize possibilities and threats;
- Goal orientation, focusing on achieving goals and on time delivering;
- Business processing, focusing on efficient/effective business processes;
- Flexibility, easy adapting to changing environments, tasks and/or people.
